Vice President, Operations

 

The VP of Operations will oversee all aspects of our complex infrastructure to ensure deliverable/projects are met.  This includes an emphasis on operations oversight, client relationship management and communication, profit and loss (P&L) accountability, new business development, problem resolution and budget efforts.  He/she provides analysis and recommendation of additional product/service offerings and engages client management to maintain/enhance existing relationships.  This operations management position requires an advances politically-sensitive aptitude and C-level client-executive experience, communication, management skills, and experience in overall administration/management functions, concepts and practices.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Oversee and manages the operations of a business unit(s) with overall responsibility for the account (i.e. service delivery, sales, operations, IT, HR).
  • Has profit and loss responsibilities and overall control of planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, and recommending and implementing changes to methods for the business unit.
  • Evaluating and improving the quality and productivity of people in the organization while driving processes to improve quality, service, and acquisition costs.
  • Direct and oversee continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Influence the vendors and business associates internationally to work within quality guidelines and business procedures.
  • Responsible for overseeing negotiations and contracts.
  • Ensure applications of established financial controls within the facility by providing operating management direction and support to the implementation and maintenance of financial policies, instruction, and internal control procedures.
  • Operate in compliance with all appropriate regulatory requirements.

 

 

Requirements

 

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration in Management, Finance or Related Field
  • Strong knowledge of technology platforms and systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Financial Management.
  • Proven track record in for-profit management.
  • Experience in a growth-oriented sales and marketing organization.
  • Consensus building skills.
